About the Founder
My daughter says that I think I am God, or "Hitler" .. "my way or the highway". (I am Swiss German and our lived and learned history was perhaps not quite the same as the American story.) Perhaps I am a dictator?.. if there are people I do not want on my Island? BUT .. a benevolent Dictator beats the lost "democracy" .. FREEDOM for the Rich .. that has evolved. If my only allowing "THINKING" citizens to be members, members who put OTHERS wellbeing FIRST, rather than the uncivil society we have become .. then I guess I am a Dictator.
I think it is reasonable to follow rules of conduct that do not impinge on OTHERS enjoyment of society, or just ability to enjoy their coffee break. So yes, I do think my premise is RIGHT, and those who disagree are wrong! Those who think having a child who shreiks the entire playground 30 minute span, or a dog that barks for 10 minutes while the owner grabs coffee .. are UN- welcome in our community.
I am not even sure what "hubris" means .. maybe arrogant? But I am sad that thinking we should smarten up and go back to LOGIC and COMMON SENSE of thinking constitutes
"my way or the highway" arrogance! We have neglected civility and thinking about cause and consequences. we have several gods .. progress and profit .. but mostly "MORE" .. more of EVERYTHING (easier, faster, newer, louder, more competitive). Yes .. we are all addicts of MORE. But unless we get back to thinking .. our simple minded "progress" will kill us. Both individual citizens and corporations must get back to taking PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Otherwise long before climate change annihilates us .. we will!
I do think my ideas would form a better basis for a useful education than we now get. My Curriculum Topics would create a better life building Foundation. The reason I am so arrogant as to think my ideas beat those who manage Education, is because I was IN the system .. for decades. I left on Disability when the most important course taught was dropped .. Home Economics! Yes most important because no other courses teach life management of resources! (Perhaps it was the beginning of Corporations running education for their profit?) I tried to create a new career for myself with a more flexible teaching option. Being bipolar .. I got side tracked into the emerging power of the Internet. It could have created Utopia .. but we went the WRONG way completely. We went further into the Advertising Dystopia and forgot it is a TOOL not our whole LIFE!
My Inventive mind (creating new "systems") but bad at sales .. took me on a journey of thousands of rejections through the Tourism Industry, OOH TV (Digital Signage) the Criminal Justice system, the Veterans Affairs Department, Healthcare and Career Development and Education. Finally after decades of investment of Finances, energy and time (a neglectful of all else OBSESSION) I see that all these inventions can form a transformative basis for our failing SOCIETAL HEALTH. Yes our Personal Health is declining as we spend more .. but we can not have TOTAL Health in a society of insecure hopelessness. Those who partner in making REVERSE WORLD a success GET ALL THE CREDIT. I am the THINKER and terrible at just DOING. I need you .. those further on the SPECTRUM TOWARD ACTION than I. Without you, my life will be a terrible waste of energy and probably many hundreds of thousands of dollars paid to bank interest. Your management assistance and connections , your expertise and talents can improve quality of life for everyone.
New good "jobs" are what we most need to reduce stress, improve health and ..
.. regain our HOPE.

A Higher Quality of Life
We usually say a better quality of life. I somehow used this ?wrong word and while coming back to correct the error, I began wondering if we need a new term for our new REVERSE WORLD lives?
For 5 decades we kept wanting a better way of life for our kids. I have always wondered why it had to always be more and more "better". Are we greedy? never satisfied? As we can see, we have reached a life full of ever new, bigger, better, faster options. Might you agree that we were actually, perhaps far happier, when we got indoor plumbing, central heat and elevators? Back then we still had time to breathe, see our friends, visit with family and enjoy a garden or sit by a stream.
It seems we are working harder just to get by. And what happens when A I and Robots REALLY take over? YES! We need a HIGHER quality of life not defined by faster change and new shallow unnecessary things AND experiences. Everything does not depend on competition or comparison, it actually depends on working together for the COMMON good. NOT today's "me first screw you, I am special!" mistaken attitudes.

NORMAL Times ..
as in "back in the day" .. back at a time when we actually USED our brain to contemplate ideas, to debate opposite viewpoints in an effort to gain new insight. Today we simplify EVERYTHING into black and white and jump onto our chosen side. We make no effort to learn why the other side sees things differently. (see "pro life missionary" article that shocked my life beliefs! YIKE!!! Had I seen who wrote it I would NOT have read it!! OMG .. I only think about things I prioritize to have time for. Tamara takes time to research her dreams and weird stuff .. but refuses to consider my curiosity/ research areas. Maybe the basic problem is TIME! I do have an interest in her weird to me stuff .. but prioritize trying to figure out the JOB problem that will destroy us.
